Hmmmm…..
I noticed that Blurt has increased its fees for posting.
In Theory this should deter spam and plagiarists from posting since it will cost them a lot of Blurt to earn very little.
If it costs you 100 Blurt to earn 1 Blurt I think you might be more careful you don’t post stolen content or spam. It’s easy enough to add a Source Link to any image or text that you borrow from some place on the web or anywhere else.
Don’t you think ?
Try to maintain at least 100 liquid Blurt for posting fees.
What happens with these Fees ?
These fees are being burned… making Blurt more rare.
In Theory … Less Blurt in Circulation should make Blurt more valuable. We will see what happens. I’m buying more Blurt while it’s still cheap.
Many cryptocurrency projects have adopted an approach called token burning to restrict the supply of their tokens. This may conjure up images of smoke and matches, but no tokens are actually burnt in the process. They are, however, rendered unusable in the future. So, what’s the point of token burning and who does it benefit?
Token burning explained
When a company decides to burn tokens, it has two options. It can either purchase existing tokens from the market (known as buy-back) or it can choose to take existing currency out of circulation.

In fact, the fees are burned.
Yes. That is awesome. Maybe we can get the # of Blurt in Circulation from 400 Million down to 100 Million or less. Then Blurt will become very very valuable.
All that unclaimed Blurt that was once talked about is still under review, so it would be great to revisit the subject and implement it.
Burn it all…. Maybe we can get to 10 Million Blurt in Circulation. Then 1 Blurt = $10,000
The Blurt fees are deterring me from actually upvoting as often as I normally do whenever I chime in. lol
I paid 1+ blurt in fees just to post a new gardening post. It sucks, but it is what it is. I'll still be engaging in the comment sections.

So all these commissions are burned? that's very good news. I thought maybe they were going to witness or something ...
The failure to burn tokens in many blockchains leads to hyperinflation and the collapse of projects.
