When it comes to dressing we all have our own ways and one thing I am realizing is that as I am aging my style is also changing. In my 20s and 30s I would look for style, even if it gave discomfort. Like I would wear very high heels, or clothes which were revealing, some times very tight and you know all that funky fashion. But now as I touch 50, I want to be in total comfort zone with my dressing. I do not like to wear those pointed heels, I do not like to wear very tight fitting clothes. I want to be comfortable all the time, then no matter whatever the occasion is.
I guess this happens with a lot of us, as we age we start looking for comfort over style. When I look back I also wonder what's happened to my dressing sense, how come over the years I have become so modest in my dressing. Is there a problem with me?....haha, am I becoming too old :-) And then I also think to myself, the next time when I go shopping I will buy some funky clothes. When I actually go for shopping I again end up with comfort.
When I go out also, I like to take my legs up and sit and for that I surely need something which does not make me feel uncomfortable. I do not want to be conscious about how I sit and all, I would like to be relaxed at all times and not worry about who is watching me how.
Style is still important for me, but not more then comfort.
