Meeting my favorite nephew after 3 long years

in family •  4 months ago

I am so happy, the last 2 days I spent with one of my most favorite nephews. He has been away from India for the past 3 years for education. He moved to Canada for his higher education and Canada is not something very near-by where one can just plan to travel at any point of time. Also, the tickets are very expensive, and his studies. After he completed his studies, his job hunt was going on. So all of it put together he could not travel back home for 3 years and we were all missing him terribly.

He lives in another City and not as same as mine, but he came to visit me for 2 days to Mumbai. The first plan was that I would travel to meet him, but then he only wanted to visit me so we changed the plan.

He is the favorite of the lot because he is my first nephew and I spent a lot of time with him in his growing up. He would even spend his school holidays at my place, so we have a very strong bonding. He was also the naughtiest one and honestly I love naughty children. I pamper him a lot, so when he came down, I had made a full plan of how to spend the day with him.

We went shopping, then we went to a pub and the boys danced. Along with him my son and another nephew also had joined, so we were a gang and had a blast of time. The next day I took him to my new home where we spent the day. He loved the place and wanted to stay back for more days but then his mother, my sister called and did not give permission to extend. So after spending good 2 days with me, he returned back to his home in Ahmedabad city.

I am so happy that we could meet and spend quality time together. I do not know now when again I will get to meet him and till such time these will be sweet memories for me.

Thank you for visiting my blog. 👼🏻👼🏻💖💖🌹🌺🌸
