Some Crazy Moments with Family and Friends

As the week of celebrations goes on and I have been having some wonderful moments with family and friends, I will like to share some glimpses of our Diwali party which was hosted at my place on Friday. Festivals are surely to be spent with our loved ones. Life gets completely dull if we do not indulge in these festive moments. I had some 20 guests at my place for the party. My home is not very big to accommodate but as it is said, it does not matter how big or small the home is, what matters is we are all together having fun together.

This time what we realized as how our parties have now transitioned from what it used to be before, where we only elders were there, but this time, we had all the kids included as well, so it was a family party. The kids had an amazing time and we were on our toes taking care of them. It was a chaos with so many of them running around everywhere and we had to ensure that they were not breaking anything. Now since I do not have any small child at home, my home is not kids friendly, so before they came, I had to clear off all the lower stands so that they would not break anything.

We started our party with bursting crackers, that was not much but just some basic ones, where the kids would enjoy and feel the festival. I have always been very fond of bursting crackers, though now I do not much, but then if I get an opportunity I will do it a bit, to get the feel. As a child at my dad's place we would celebrate this festival with a lot of zeal, and the whole of building would gather up to celebrate it together.

That's the gang, we had made a traditional theme, so everyone was in a Indian attire.

After everyone arrived then we went down in the open area to burst crackers. This year I bursted crackers after almost 6 years, I was feeling very happy.

We had a dance session for the kids, oh my god that was crazy, they were all over the place jumping, yelling, dancing. It was a big task for us managing them, but all worth it to hear their laughter and see their happy faces full of joy and cheer.

And the ladies of the group

She's y brother's daughters. We both are very fond of each other. I miss all of them so much when I am not in India.

We ordered for some Pizza for a change. I do not personally like to indulge in this type of junk food, but as I always say and practice too that occasionally it is ok to slip and enjoy the moment. The kids are fond of Pizza and just being an occasion, we decided to go for this option.
The evening was total fun, full of laughter, joy, good times and making beautiful memories. It's a matter of 2 days now and Wednesday is time to fly back to Muscat. Today is my Son's birthday, and we will be celebrating his birthday. It's just going to be with family. He is a foodie, so I have planned a Dinner for him at his choice of place. Yesterday we also went some shopping for him and he had his heart's fill. I will share his birthday pictures tomorrow with you all. With all these beautiful memories and a wonderful break of 3 months I will be travelling back to Muscat on Wednesday and getting back to work. Also I will have to do a good detox diet for some days, as have been on a lot of junk in this last 1 month with so many parties and celebrations.
All is well that ends well.

Thank you for visiting my blog. 👼🏻👼🏻💖💖🌹🌺🌸
