Fame or Money: Which Would You Prefer?

There are no limits to human aspirations. There is always going to be "one more thing" that we just like to have, no matter how much we already have. We are an unending source of needs and desires.
To a certain extent, this character of ours has aided in the development of our society. Progress results from our never-ending search for better solutions.

Anyway, I wanted to discuss two of these impulses that are specific to our species now. Sincerely, no other animal has ever desired a sizable bank account or tens of thousands of Instagram likes! Money or Fame? First, let's examine what each comprises.

FAME

Everyone wants to be noticed occasionally. If you're like me, you probably don't have many desires, yet there are plenty of people in the world who would like to elevate their status to a national or international level and become well-known figures.

Although taxing, the lives of Hollywood superstars are attractive, with millions of admirers worldwide, many of whom aspire to be like them and many of whom just want to be with them.

While being famous can be an amazing experience, would it truly be worthwhile without the money? Fame without wealth, in my view, is just a meaningless existence of noise. If you can't profit from your notoriety, all of your followers on Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and other social media platforms mean nothing.

MONEY

The driving force behind the world's activities is the pursuit of a living, which is defined as having enough money to cover one's essential expenses.
I believe that the goal of almost everyone on the planet is to accumulate enough wealth to be able to say that they have left the rat race behind. Isn't that the primary purpose of the race? To put a stop to it?

Money, as a medium of exchange, can fulfill the rest of your desires and, regardless of how others feel about it or how it has made us into vile, avaricious monsters, you cannot change that. Therefore, would you even consider having a lot of it if given the choice?

I find that this one is quite easy. Prioritizing attention, people's opinions of me, and such things have never truly bothered me.

Furthermore, I've always desired a "free life," an unorthodox existence free from the constraints of spending my prime years obtaining "enough" money to kill my dreams and ambitions.

I would therefore prefer to have just enough money, if given the option, to escape the monotonous, repetitive, and robotic existence that is commonly referred to be the modern lifestyle.
