It's been a tough week for me. Private war in my own family going public was the start of it, documented here- https://blurt.blog/children/@northern-tracey/i-m-a-monster. Then WW111 in the bigger outside world. Is this a case of 'as above so below' or something?
Then I got locked out of my facebook account (that one I can live with tbh as only needed a nudge to get out of that metaverse bullshit).
When I try to log in they want verification of who I am which I am not prepared to give them seeing as they are not a bank. They have no right to ask for my ID's. They already started that shit years ago claiming northern tracey was not my real name. SO WHAT!
The option to simply tick which of a list of random comments were made by me looks like it is still there but it's a trick. They are not accepting that as proof it is your account. The submit button or whatever should happen next is clearly not there.
So it looks like I'm forced to go cold turkey on the fb front but am quietly relieved. I just hope to not lose contact with everyone.

So during my horrible week I heard this man talking about me on one of Fakeologists live shows and it really cheered me up. So with my new toy from bandicam I filmed it and made myself a promo/cheerer upper.
and yes I'll be going on the show again tonight to talk about my very public family drama.

I left FB about six months ago. I am a happier person as a result. Congratulations!!

I'm sure I will be happier off of FB but sadly it was the only way to keep in touch with SOME people. One of those people is holding a large asset of mine too so am going to have to get someone to go and see him on the ground. I don't know of any other social network that doesn't allow you to see inside unless you have an account. It's ridiculous.
Its influence is insidious. Many businesses no longer have websites so that only FB accounts can see, for example, a restaurant's menu. I kept the hardcopy phone book this year for the first time in a long time.
I lost touch with so many people!!! Messenger was useful, until even my messages there would trigger warnings while I was writing them! That was the last straw. I deleted my account that very day. I know there are a great many people I will never be in touch with again, but, since I am a Dem party defector, most of them are zombies now anyway, and I have nothing to say to them or they to me.
I wish you luck getting in touch with those you need to stay in touch with.
Well I've already got most of the important ones. I know where others live but will miss their 'news'. I'll get over it. With this new meta thing they're buildiing it will become something else anyway, something I don't want to be in.
