In today's world anything can go viral in minutes or even seconds , social media is a great source that can make someone famous in just a small period of time.
These social media are also a threat to people if not used properly, there is a bulk of fake news that is transmitted on the internet daily. There are hundred and thousands of pages that run daily news that are fake.
People are reading them and believing it to be fact , further they are also circulating those fake news via WhatsApp and other social platforms.
Let me share a recently trending fake news from India that made me laugh. Anyone with brain will think before believing such news.
The news was that from now on people who will ride the motorcycle wearing half sleeve shirt or t-shirt will be fined. I mean how can someone really believe in this senseless illogical news, still people are busy sharing and warning people about not wearing half sleeves while they ride a bike.
Fine for not wearing a helmet is understandable but fine for wearing a half sleeves is what made me laugh. I still confirm that it was a fake news by simply writing this topic in Google search and this is what I found on the very first page of Google.
"Beware of rumours”, the minister had tweeted while listing the bogus claims on traffic rules. The minister had cleared that wearing half sleeved shirts, driving in lungis or vest, cars without extra light and untidy glasses in the car will not attract any fine.
So the news is fake.
Also , this was not found on any local news Page but the official hindustan times page i.e one of the largest news channel in India. So all this was fake news and you can freely wear what you want while riding a two wheeler.
Be aware of fake news and always confirm any information you are passing forward as it can mislead people.
