Ridiculed and Finding Strength in God's Approval

Being devoted to following Jesus has a price: we will not be respected by everyone. Being made fun of shouldn't scare us because Jesus was also faced with similar difficulties. Even as the general public applauded Him for His stirring and influential message, a jealous minority would always stay in the background. The genuine lifestyle of Jesus revealed the hypocrisy of those who opposed him. His instruction was so clear that it made the religious leaders' rigid beliefs seem confusing and oppressive.

As disciples of Christ, we have to acknowledge that we will inevitably hear disparaging remarks. Trying to please everyone is impossible and exhausting, and it can lead to disappointment. Feeling compelled to please others can lead to fear and anxiety. Some people just cannot be persuaded or satisfied, no matter how hard one tries.

Why do certain people always have complaints? Their pain demands attention, their insecurities want attention, and their egos yearn for attention. Their distress has clouded their judgment, leading them to vent their annoyance on other people. That being said, you can show them love and care during this turbulent time by using God's grace. Give them what they've rejected from you. Their journey towards Jesus will be aided by your forbearance and kindness. Your behavior proves that you are who you say you are, especially when things get tough. It's okay if people don't think well of you; those who aren't in a relationship with Christ might not understand.

What matters most is God's opinion of you, not what other people think of you. Thankfully, Christ welcomes you if you believe in Him. God, however, is concerned about your continuing development of faith. He's hoping that in time, you'll grow in your faith and lose your dread of people. God longs for a personal, interesting, and instructive relationship with you. Your acceptance is a result of His love.

When the Lord confirms your place in life, have faith in it. Remain unwavering in the face of opposing viewpoints. God is the source of your foundation because He provides protection and safety. His approval is paramount, therefore take solace in Him and throw off any ridiculous expectations established by others. The Holy Spirit is the only one who can help you fully understand what God requires of you.

You may probably run across criticism from someone who doesn't understand your religious journey. Making moral choices could cost you money or cause you to lose a relationship. Adhering to Christ could elicit harsh criticism from a few people, or even their silent disapproval that is upsetting. Still, we must love them and pray for them in spite of their ludicrous claims. God knows everything, after all, and that's what counts most.

Greetings😊
