My First Time Experiencing Sore Eyes

in eyes •  last year

I clearly recall the first time I experienced itchy eyes. The discomfort started as a mild annoyance, but soon my eyes were burning and constantly tearing up. Even routine activities like reading or watching on my phone felt like difficult obstacles as the world turned into a foggy, fuzzy scene. It was a frustrating experience.

I will never forget how uncomfortable it was the for the first time. My eyes felt slightly itchy at first, almost as if tiny sand particles had gotten inside of them. The sensation grew worse throughout the day, making it difficult to concentrate on anything. Blinking simply seems to make the annoyance worse. Every blink reminded me of the discomfort as my eyes turned red and wet. I asked my sister and also my neighbour how to heal sore eyes and they advised me to put my own urine on it early in the morning just only a few drops. And then for the other day I did what they said to me. And it seemed to be effective. Because after two hours when I put a few drops on my own urine my sore eyes gone.

After that incident. I protect and resolved to guard my priceless sight in the future after learning the significance of good eye cleanliness and taking good care on my eyes.

A frequent condition characterised by symptoms like redness, itching, burning, dryness, tears, and a gritty sensation in the eyes is known as sore eyes, sometimes known as eye pain or eye irritation. There are numerous potential causes, such as:

Poor tear quality or insufficient tear production are symptoms of dry eye syndrome.

Exposure to allergens like pollen, dust, or pet dander causes allergies.
Conjunctivitis is an inflammation of the thin, translucent membrane that covers the white of the eye and the inside of the eyelids. It is frequently brought on by allergies or infections.

Foreign Objects: Substances that irritate the surface of the eye, such as dust or contact lens debris.

Long-term exposure to smoke, wind, or strong lighting are environmental factors.

Digital eye strain is the result of prolonged use of digital gadgets, which causes eye tiredness.

Contact Lenses: Improper use or contact lens sensitivity.

illnesses: Redness and discomfort can be brought on by bacterial or viral illnesses.
Depending on the underlying cause, artificial tears, warm compresses, antihistamines (for allergies), or antibiotics (for infections) may be used in the course of treatment or care. It's important to see an eye care specialist for a proper diagnosis and treatment plan if sore eyes persist or get worse. Additionally, maintaining proper eye hygiene and avoiding screens for extended periods of time might help reduce eye discomfort.
