Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has released the results of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations. This year 20 lakh 96 thousand 547 students have passed, the pass rate is 93.56 percent. This is about 11 percent more than last year.

The Prime Minister inaugurated the distribution of free New Year books among the students at Bangabandhu International Conference Center on Thursday (December 30) morning. He later announced the results of SSC.

This time SSC and equivalent examinations were held in three elective subjects in a short syllabus. In this, the required subjects like Bengali and English are evaluated on the basis of the results of the previous public examination without taking the examination this time.
