Daily Routine & making sandwich

Hi all of you.Hope everyone is having fun.Today was a great day like the rest of day.The fresh air of morning always make the mood better as everyone knows the month of Ramadan is going.The mornign start to much early.The wind that is blowing at this time feels like it is coming straight from heaven.praying with this beautiful feeling is no less than a blessing.
When i come back home after spending the whole day in trouble. I thought why not make me own sandwiches for aftari. Then i went to the market and bought groceries to make sandwiches. These turned out be very tasty so thought of sharing the recipe with you how you can easily make them at home.
Making a potato sandwich is a delicious and simple process.

Ingredients:

  • 2 large potatoes, boiled and mashed
  • 4 slices of bread (white, wheat, or your preferred type)
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1-2 green chilies, finely chopped (optional, adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Butter or cooking oil for frying

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Potato Filling:

    • In a bowl, combine the mashed potatoes, chopped onions, green chilies (if using), turmeric powder, cumin seeds, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  2. Assemble the Sandwich:

    • Take two slices of bread and spread a generous amount of the potato mixture evenly on each slice.
    • Place the other two slices of bread on top to form sandwiches.
  3. Cook the Sandwiches:

    • Heat a skillet or frying pan over medium heat and add a little butter or cooking oil.

    • Once the skillet is hot, carefully place the assembled sandwiches on it.

    • Cook the sandwiches for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they turn golden brown and crispy.

  4. Serve:

    • Once the sandwiches are cooked to your liking, remove them from the skillet and place them on a serving plate.
    • Cut each sandwich diagonally into halves or quarters, if desired.
  • Serve your potato sandwiches as a snack, light meal, or pack them for lunch or picnics. They're versatile and delicious!
