movies where vampires are ugly and evil are anti-oligarchy

have you noticed that we don't see any ugly and evil vampire stories now ?

movies where vampires are rich and beautiful and powerful are pro-oligarchy

the highlander stories are basically vampire stories

movies where people are "forced" to kill their family and neighbors (because they are "infected" and become "zombies") are indirectly pro-oligarchy (and pro-vaxx) because the oligarch's primary goal is to destroy human tribes (families and local communities of less than 200)

however,

some stories, (like "Jericho" for example and also "Lost" to some degree) can illustrate how a local community can effectively support each other and negotiate with "strangers" and "rival communities"

most of these movies and shows and games are engineered to further deteriorate a viewer's "faith in human kindness" which makes the "free-thinking-skeptics" MORE vulnerable to isolation and infighting, and allows the powerful to seduce the young with technology and hypnotic architecture and stories of "ancient traditions" and promises of "honor" and "purpose" before grinding them into the mud

"kill all outsiders" is not a good policy

"trust and or help all outsiders" is ALSO not a good policy

you can't subscribe to a "one-size-fits-all" blanket policy

what you can do is expect each individual to always,

(1) PROTECT YOURSELF

(2) PROTECT YOUR FAMILY
(3) PROTECT YOUR PROPERTY

it's like the three rules of robotics, but for humans (but could also apply to robots)
