Spiritual Significance of 08th August

Every thought that we send out in the Universe stays somewhere as energy and the more we focus on our thoughts we increase the power of creation of that thought. In Astrology and Spiritual terms the date 8th August holds a lot of significance. This is the day when the Lion's Gate Portal opens up. This is a cosmic event and takes place when astronomically Sun is in Leo, the Orion Belt which is the three stars constellation, which is also called as the three sisters, Planet Earth and the Sirius star which is the brightest star in the sky (not the North Star) are all in one line. This cosmic event takes place yearly between July 28 and August 12, and peaks on the 8th August (8/8).

Number 8 is associated with planet Earth and holds a lot of spiritual energy. It is a number of Karmic lessons. It is all about claiming our personal power, to become aware of our higher purpose and to lead. It is the number of Infinity. Infinite wisdom, power, knowledge, love and abundance. If you see the sign of Infinity, it is a horizontal number 8. It is a number of lot of good vibes. On this day very high energy flow is observed and hence it is a very good time for manifestations.
On this day the Lion's gate portal is fully open and there is high flow of energy, in this time when we focus on our deepest desires we increase the probabilities of our manifestations to form into reality.

As I said everything starts with a thought, but how to shape up that thought and bring it to reality depends on how much energy we put into it. Times like these give a boost and amplify the energy put in the thought. These are best times to focus on what we want to achieve in life. Just like the Full Moon Night when the energy is high and you can see that how the high energy impacts our planet Earth. There is a high tide on Full Moon, the Ocean goes roaring. Such influx of Energies we should put to good use and when collectively something is manifested in these times, the better and faster results we get.

So, what should one do in these days. You should be as peaceful as possible. High energies can also bring chaos. It just amplifies whatever your focus is on. If the focus is on negative things then it will amplify that as well. So it is important to be peaceful and calm and have good positive thoughts flowing in your mind. One should do Meditation in this time to channelize on these high frequencies. We can also make Affirmations. Affirmations are a very powerful tool in manifestation and specially when used on such days again the energy amplifies. Visualization techniques, Writing down, all these are tools to give power to your manifestations.

I personally also advice to drink lot of water on such days, because it is easy to trip off on these high energy days. You may observe some mood swings or extreme reactions. Water balances the energy of the body and hence it is helpful to keep yourself well hydrated on such days.

When the Spiritual Energies are at peak, one should always channelize that to good use to fulfill their aspirations.
