The U.S. Has Killed More Than 20 Million People in 37 “Victim Nations” Since World War II

After the catastrophic attacks of September 11 2001 monumental sorrow and a feeling of desperate and understandable anger began to permeate the American psyche. A few people at that time attempted to promote a balanced perspective by pointing out that the United States had also been responsible for causing those same feelings in people in other nations, but they produced hardly a ripple. Although Americans understand in the abstract the wisdom of people around the world empathizing with the suffering of one another, such a reminder of wrongs committed by our nation got little hearing and was soon overshadowed by an accelerated “war on terrorism.”

But we must continue our efforts to develop understanding and compassion in the world. Hopefully, this article will assist in doing that by addressing the question “How many September 11ths has the United States caused in other nations since WWII?” This theme is developed in this report which contains an estimated numbers of such deaths in 37 nations as well as brief explanations of why the U.S. is considered culpable.

That is a great compilation of all the people the US has murderedin the past 75 years! Lots of good history I have forgotten, in a succinct report. Really good! Thanks

It is so important to have context in this world where the American Government wants to preach to other nations about peace, democracy and many other areas of life, like health. Each year, 700,000 Americans die from iatrogenesis... medical errors! 10 years = 7,000,000! 20 years = 14,000,000! 30 years = 21,000,000!

20,000,000 "Victim Nations" aka non-Americans in 75 years

21,000,000 "Medical Victims" aka American Citizens in 30 years

41,000,000 and we haven't included other areas like polution, etc.

You forgot Ukraine, 15000 dead before the SMO. It stopped being a proxy war when US operated HIMARS were deployed there. Syria as well, I guess US didn't fund ISIS either, and not had anything to do with Libya or Yemen. Fuck Africa, they ain't even worth mentioning.

The United States has been involved in numerous foreign interventions throughout its history. By the broadest definition of military intervention, the US has engaged in nearly 400 military interventions between 1776 and 2019, with half of these operations occurring since 1950 and over 25% occurring in the post-Cold War period.[1]

Victim Nations or simply Nations?
