Hello everyone,
I start by saying a big thank you to @endplagiarism for giving us search an awesome contest and I’m happy to participate.
First of all, let’s start by getting to know what the word plagiarism is meant by.
We’ve heard people all over the world use the word especially on its great blurt platform but some don’t know what the meaning is.
Well here is a brief explanation of what plagiarism is meant by.
Plagiarism is the act of stealing or say using one’s ideas without giving proper credit to the original author and using it as your own.
Plagiarism comes in a different form, it can be the use of a picture from the internet or using a word that has been used by someone on the internet.
In either case, if you use a picture or words from the internet without sourcing it, it’s called plagiarism.
There are so many times of plagiarism, but I’m only going to explain 2 types I know.
We have Direct plagiarism.
When an individual goes to the internet and copies a full paragraph of words without reference the paragraph to the original author, we call it direct plagiarism.
Self-plagiarism: self-plagiarism is the use of words you’ve already used in your previous writing without any reference.
Plagiarism is a serious crime and should be dealt with properly when caught. In other to stop the practice of plagiarism in the great blurt community, below are some of the ways to prevent the spread of plagiarism in this great blurt community.
Firstly, by reporting plagiarism content to the proper authority when caught.
The end plagiarism team is there for everyone, it is up to us the individual to report to them when we find out that content posted by another individual is been plagiarism from the internet so that he or she can be dealt with properly.
Lastly, it is most vital to write your content. In doing that, it gives you the individual a broader overview of what you writing which also helps you understand what you are writing on.
In writing your content, it helps you learn new words and also gives you experience which can be used whenever you find yourself in the world.
If you are not sure of what you’ve written, you can copy your text and paste it on a plagiarism checker to see if it’s original. Because I understand that sometimes we use words that have already been used before without knowing that it has been used by another individual.
With the help of the plagiarism checker, you will be able to solve this problems.
Plagiarism is really a serious crime and we must put a stop 🛑 to it.
