We went on vacation and resumed this year 2021, my school mandated we resume immediately with lectures. The truth was we just finished second semester because of covid 19 lockdown we had to rush to Meet up with the school calendar, we resumed immediately after two weeks of vacation. The challenging part is that we have to pay for accommodation, school fees and other fees. My mind was only on God because my accommodation fee has elapse and since I stay in hostel I have to pay for school fees #56,500 before I can pay for accommodation. I came to school to do balloting to either pick yes or no for staying in hostel. I went to school prayerful about it because if I pick yes I will pay #10,000 if no i will pay #15,000 . My concern was if I will pay school fees first, I asked our students union president he said yes. They ended up telling us that everyone that came and picked got Yes, I was so overwhelmed. The main thing was the school fees, lectures began I was still at home, I asked some persons they said you must pay school fees first to pack in. I was paying transport very expensive to school, staying hungry just to ensure my transport will take me home. I went one day to the computer village and told me to login for me to find out if truly school fees was compulsory before packing in. Lo! And behold it was not, I was very happy, I came back and told my mom she was glad. I made payment and starting suffering because there was no much foodstuffs. I had to learn how to manage #,000 both for transport and feeding.

School fees payment

I had to sort for a way out to pay my school fees for me to join and write exams. I applied for scholarship in ASUU, I was about traveling to cananan land living faith church winners chapel. It required statement of results from my department, my G.P was 3.57 ,I needed my Head of department to sign on my letter. The date for the journey reached I made everything available, and gave it to a friend to summit excluding the statement of results and letter from my head of department which they suspended before I left, my course advicer tried her best but they couldn't get it, it was only the paper that denied me of the scholarship. I came back and applied for another one IN NNPC NIGERIA. I processed it but all to no avail. My mum had to take loan to pay my fees I felt so bad because they have to deduct it from her salary and it affected our feeding. I'm trained in the university by a single mother.

I had a defense for the first time, which I stood before lecturers to defend my course, we were grouped into 5 groups I was in group 5 ,we spoke about seed/stem. I had to cut my feeding money to pay for my group contributions, we used projector and slide to explain our topic with pictures. I had to answer questions for the group, we came out the best.
