Extremely unclear situations, such as the current crisis, might cause us to feel uneasy and nervous. We suffer when we use a lot of energy attempting to control our emotions and thoughts, which can prevent us from feeling in control. Fortunately, everyone of us possesses the ability to fortify ourselves against external conditions by fortifying our own reserves. We can use such ideas and feelings to our advantage when we have emotional management.

Managing your emotions entails making the most of any feelings you may be experiencing in order to produce your best work. Our ability to maintain composure in the face of adversity increases with our level of emotional stability. Putting on a phony smile and stifling your bad emotions is not the definition of emotional management. In order to be in charge of your reactions to situations and not let your emotions dictate how you feel, it is instead important to recognize what is emotionally happening to you and deal with those feelings, there are;

1 . Recognize what prompts you.
Not everything can be avoided, but we may become more conscious of the circumstances that lead to unpleasant feelings. The stronger our ability to handle our triggers, the more conscious of them we are!

2 . Feelings should not be repressed. Studies reveal that if unpleasant emotions are acknowledged and expressed, they can be transformed much more effectively than if they are suppressed.

3 . Identify the feelings.
It's necessary to break that feedback loop if you want to stabilize yourself. Assigning names or labels to the emotions you're feeling at the moment can help you feel less reactive. Labeling and reflecting on your emotions can help to reduce anxiety and help you transition from fight-or-flight to a more analytical state of mind where you can focus on solving the problem at hand rather than stressing over it.

4 . Give up thinking.
You can interrupt a negative thought pattern by telling yourself to "Stop!" according to studies. Try it next time you observe your thoughts spiraling downward!
