Who do you listen to?

When I ask this question, who do yoi listen to?
This is not related to someone external but it is about own-self. Within us we always have 2 voices, one is the voice of our heart and another is the voice of our mind. Not necessarily both are in sync all the time. There are times when they will conflict and that's where we have to take the decision, who do we want to listen to.

During the trek, there were times when I was feeling very distressed and I wanted to end the journey half way itself. This was my mind telling me. It was being very logical. At the same time, my heart was completely refusing to give up. It was telling me that I had worked so hard for it and I should not give up after coming so far. My heart was speaking out of emotions.

I knew both of them were playing with me and there were moments when I would fall on one side more. Finally I did decide to go with my heart and continue the journey but then I also made a plan B listening to my mind and making sure I am not risking my self in any way.

This happens witg all of us, these 2 voices are constantly guiding us and they are in symc most of the times, but when they conflict then it becomes a task of who should we pay more attention to.
