Education reforms of 21st Century.

There is only three methods to transfer knowledge to new generations. They are teaching, learning and by doing research for new knowledge. The conventional teaching methods only focused on providing knowledge to the students while modern education systems also focusing on developing skills like communication, critical thinking, creativity etc. And also we can identify the modern education system in 21 st century is utilizing the modern information and communication technologies for teaching process which can be identifies as a very positive move. We can start discussing with conventional pass fail policy which has numerous plus and minus points. It was earlier implemented in Sri Lankan schools but it, but authorities changed that policy which is a good action according to my point of view. Then it comes that gradation system where the exam pressure is little bit reduced from the students and also student is not forcefully prepared only for the exam. Implementation of this system increased the positive outcome of our education system. Introducing more technology based subject matters and computer based education system can be identified as the main education reform of 21 century which change the whole picture of the conventional education system.
