Now looking at the distant horizon, the head of the palm tree could be seen from afar, the palm tree is rarely seen across the Barind region. Due to lack of deep roots and branches, the soil does not compete with the nutrients in the soil and does not damage the crop with shade. Palm leaves are used as hand fan, mat, hat, house tent, mat, umbrella, lacquer. A variety of fancy items are made from the fiber of the tree, such as hats, baskets, brushes, rugs, small baskets, and fishing poles. Molasses, patali, vinegar, pitha, bara, luchi, etc. are made by collecting sap from the flowers or braids of male trees.
Cakes, bara, khir, payes are made with ripe palm juice. The soft shells of young and raw palms are delicious, nutritious and everyone's favorite. The cakes made in the eighties by keeping the ripe palm sticks under the ground are dear to the children and the elderly.

The roots of the palm tree go deep into the soil. The palm tree played a significant role in the recharge of groundwater in the Barind region through hunting in the Kaushik process. Babui birds used to nest in the leaves of palm trees. Babui birds used to catch insects and spiders in paddy fields. As a result, the paddy fields of the farmers could be protected from insects and spiders. Which is having an impact on agriculture. The environment of Barind region was suitable for growing palm trees. So palm trees could grow anywhere in the Barind region.
