Grafting is a well-known and popular method in Bangladesh. The Grafting system has made great changes and contributions in the field of agriculture in our country. However, cocoon (bunch) Graftings are popular among Graftings. We see a revolution in agriculture around us. That revolution is not only possible because of the hybrid seeds and advanced technology, but also because of the success of the Grafting technology has helped us to get to where we are today. In today’s post I am going to share Grafting in details which I will share here from my personal experience.
We have several lemon trees in our house and their yield is very good. Since it is much better in terms of taste, smell and yield, it occurred to me to try to invent some more plants from this lemon variety. So, I studied a little online with a cocoon Grafting and done that technique on a lemon tree. So, I am briefly sharing some details of this Grafting here.
First, I had to collect the dung and mix it with soil at 1:2 ratio. When soiling and grounding, it has to be well applied with water. The purpose of applying water is to keep the soil moist and moist. The softer the soil, the easier it will be to attach to the tree for cocoons and it is more likely to yield good results for cocoons. Next time I mixed the soil nicely so that it becomes soft and I can remove any hard granules inside it.
Now I remove the part of the tree branch with a knife. In this case I do this in a space of 2 inches. Before that I had to select certain pulses that are straight and short. This time I make a bunch of soil and spread it well on the peel. A bunch has been created as you can see in your picture.
I will use it fro placing into other area and it usually takes about 20 days. But the most important thing here is that the soil with which this work has been done is very important to keep the soil always wet and damp. If it ever dries, but we will not get the result of the Grafting. So, I have not covered this soil with polythene rather with jute bags. The advantage of this is that I can observe from time to time whether the soil has hardened or not. And conveniently and if necessary I can sprinkle water on top. If you don’t want to notice this every day then you can sprinkle water on it at a certain time every day then of course the soil will stay wet and damp which is very necessary for Graftings. There was a lot of rain when I did this so I didn’t have to give so much water.
After 25 days I got to see a lot of big tops and was very happy that I was able to create some more species of trees. In this way we got some more varieties of the fruitful and good lemon tree that we had from which we are expecting to get almost the same fruit. And in this way we are able to achieve prosperity in agriculture and I know that farmers at different levels of Bangladesh are making huge contributions in the field of agriculture from their respective places which is reflected in the economy of our country. Bangladesh is in a very good position in the world in rice, jute, fish cultivation and readymade garment production also. Behind this is the contribution of the farmers of our country and the right direction and incentive of the government.

গুটি কলম বাংলাদেশের একটি বহুল পরিচিত প্রচলিত এবং জনপ্রিয় পদ্ধতি। কলম পদ্ধতি আমাদের দেশের কৃষি ক্ষেত্রে ব্যাপক পরিবর্তন ও অবদান রেখেছে। তবে গুটি কলম কলমের মধ্যে জনপ্রিয়। আমরা আমাদের চারপাশে কৃষিতে বিপ্লব দেখতে পাই। সেই বিপ্লব কেবলমাত্র যে হাইব্রিড বীজ এবং উন্নত প্রযুক্তির কারণে সম্ভব হয়েছে তা নয় পাশাপাশি কলম প্রযুক্তিতে উত্তরোত্তর সাফল্য আমাদেরকে আজকের এ পর্যায়ে আসতে অনেকটাই সহযোগিতা করেছে। আজকের পোস্টে আমি গুটি কলম বিস্তারিত বর্ণনা ধারাবাহিকভাবে দিতে চলেছি যা আমি আমার ব্যক্তিগত অভিজ্ঞতা থেকে এখানে শেয়ার করব।
আমাদের বাড়িতে বেশ কিছু লেবু গাছ আছে এবং সেগুলোর ফলন অনেক ভালো। যেহেতু স্বাদে গন্ধে এবং ফলনের দিক থেকে অনেক উন্নত তাই এই লেবুর জাত থেকে অন্য আরো কিছু গাছ উদ্ভাবন করার চেষ্টা আমার মাথায় আসে। তাই আমি গুটি কলম নিয়ে অনলাইনে একটু পড়াশোনা করলাম এবং লেবু গাছে গুটি কলম করলাম। তো আমি এই গুটি কলমের বিস্তারিত কিছু বর্ণনা এখানে সংক্ষেপে শেয়ার করছি।
প্রথমে আমাকে গোবর সংগ্রহ করতে হয়েছে এবং সেই গুগলের সাথে শতকরা 50 ভাগ অনুপাতে মাটি মিশ্রিত করতে হয়েছে। মাটি এবং ভূমিষ্ঠ করার সময় পানি দিয়ে এটাকে ভালোভাবে মাখিয়ে নিতে হয়। ভালোভাবে মাখিয়ে নেওয়ার উদ্দেশ্য হচ্ছে যাদের করে মাটি ভেজা এবং নরম থাকে। মাটি যত নরম হবে সেটিকে গুটি কলম এর জন্য গাছে সংযোজন করা তত সহজ হবে এবং এটা থেকে গুটি কলম এর ক্ষেত্রে ভালো ফল পাওয়ার সম্ভাবনা বেশি। পরবর্তীতে আমি এই মাটিকে সুন্দর করে মাখিয়ে নেই যাতে করে এটি নরম হয় এবং এর ভেতরকার কোন শক্ত দানাদার কোন কিছু থাকলে তা বের করে ফেলতে পারি।
এবার আমি চাকু দিয়ে গাছের ডালের যে কয়টি অংশ আছে সেটিকে তুলে ফেলি এক্ষেত্রে আমি 2 ইঞ্চি পরিমাণ জায়গায় এই কাজটি করি। তার আগে আমাকে নির্দিষ্ট কিছু ডাল নির্বাচন করতে হয়েছে যে ডালগুলো সোজা এবং ছোট। এবার আমি মাটিকে একটা গুচ্ছ করে সেই খোসা ছাড়ানোর ডালের উপরে ভালো ভাবে লেপ্টে দেই। যেমনটি আপনার ছবিতে দেখতে পাচ্ছেন এরকম একটি গুচ্ছ তৈরি হয়েছে।
লেবু গাছের গুটি কলম থেকে এসে করবো যাতে সাধারণত 20 দিনের মতো লেগে যায়। তবে এখানে সবচেয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বিষয় হচ্ছে যে মাটি দিয়ে এই কাজটি করা হয়েছে সেই মাটিতে সবসময় ভেজা এবং স্যাঁতস্যাঁতে থাকাটা খুব জরুরি। যদি কখনো শুকিয়ে যায় তাহলে কিন্তু গুটি কলমের যে ফল সেটা আমরা পাবোনা। তাই আমি এই মাটিকে পলিথিন দিয়ে না পেঁচিয়ে বরং পাটের ব্যাগ দিয়ে সুন্দর করে দিয়েছি। এতে করে সুবিধা হল আমি সময়ে-অসময়ে এটাকে পর্যবেক্ষণ করতে পারব যে মাটি টা শক্ত হয়ে গেল কি গেল না। এবং সুবিধামতো এবং প্রয়োজনে আমি উপর দিয়ে পানি ছিটিয়ে দিতে পারব। যদি আপনি এই বিষয়টা প্রতিদিন লক্ষ্য করতে না চান তাহলে প্রতিদিন একটা নির্দিষ্ট সময়ে এর উপরে পানি ছিটিয়ে দিতে পারেন তাহলে অবশ্যই মাটি ভেজা ও স্যাঁতসেঁতে থাকবে যা গুটি কলমের জন্য অত্যন্ত প্রয়োজনীয়। আমি যখন এই কাজটি করেছি তখন প্রচুর বৃষ্টি ছিল তাই এত বেশি পানি দিতে হয়নি।
25 দিন পর আমি অনেক বড় বড় শেখর দেখতে পেয়েছিলাম এবং খুব আনন্দিত হয়েছিলাম যে গাছের আরো কিছু প্রজাতি তৈরি করতে সমর্থ হয়েছি। এতে করে আমাদের যেই ফলনশীল এবং ভালো লেবু গাছ ছিল সেটা আরো কিছু জাত আমরা পেয়ে গেলাম যা থেকে প্রায় একই রকম ফল পাওয়ার আশা করছি। আর এভাবে করেই আমরা কৃষিতে সমৃদ্ধি অর্জন করতে পারছি এবং আমি জানি বাংলাদেশের বিভিন্ন পর্যায়ে কৃষকরা তাদের নিজ নিজ জায়গা থেকে কৃষি ক্ষেত্রে ব্যাপক অবদান রেখে যাচ্ছেন যার প্রতিফলন আমাদের দেশের অর্থনীতিতে আমরা দেখতে পাচ্ছি। বাংলাদেশ সারা বিশ্বে ধান পাট চাষ এবং তৈরি পোশাক উৎপাদনে খুব ভালো অবস্থানে রয়েছে। এর পিছনে আমাদের দেশের কৃষকদের অবদান সবচেয়ে বেশি এবং সরকারের সঠিক দিক নির্দেশনা ও প্রণোদনাও রয়েছে।
