in ecoblurt •  4 years ago

A butterfly is an order of Lepidoptera along with the moths. They have four coloured scale-covered wings with unique patterns and markings. Their bodies and legs have scales too.

A butterfly is a beautiful flying insect that help flowering plants pollinate. When the butterfly sips nectar from a flower, it will be covered with pollen. Then, as the butterfly flies to another flower, the pollen also transfers.

Butterfly is attracted to bright colored flowers. On the other hand, butterfly also tends to attract many flower pollinator. It may not be as helpful in cross-pollination compared to bees but it does it part and what butterfly can do more is that it adds color, beauty and life to our garden. Butterflies are often symbolizes freedom and peace. They are also an indicator of a healthy environment.
