Beneath the azure skies, a silent cry,
The Earth, wounded, with tears from the sky.
Her rivers run red with the scars of greed,
Her forests ablaze, her creatures in need.

With each passing day, the wounds deepen more,
As we plunder her riches, her treasures we ignore.
We take and we take, with no thought for tomorrow,
Leaving behind a legacy of sorrow.

The soil, once fertile, now barren and dry,
As the scars of our actions stretch to the sky.
The oceans, once teeming with life so grand,
Now choked with plastic, a desolate land.

But amidst the chaos, a glimmer of hope,
For the Earth is resilient, with the strength to cope.
If we heed her cries and mend our ways,
Perhaps we can halt the Earth's bleeding phase.
