The Lake: Nala's Enthusiastic Playtime by the Lake

As the sun started to warm in April, I decided to seize the moment at Ebnisee, a peaceful lake eagerly awaiting the upcoming bathing season. This day in the year 2014 was perfect for a lake outing with my beloved canine companion, Nala. She adored the water, a fondness she had developed over time, surprising given her early hesitation.

We spent hours frolicking by the lakeside. I'd toss a stick or a sponge into the water, and Nala would dash in, retrieve it, and return it with a gleeful look. She was a true water lover, a side of her personality that had remained hidden during her early years.

With each throw, Nala would beg for more, her eyes pleading for another chance to splash into the water. That familiar look of excitement and playfulness always made my heart melt, reminding me of the joy she found in these moments. Despite not always bringing back the exact stick I threw, she had a knack for choosing the largest one to return, making each playful interaction all the more memorable.
