The Lord does not overlook His people. He remembers them even if they are serving in a distant nation away from home. He knows how bravely they have battled health issues. He aids people in their fight against the devil and sin. He remembers their uncomfortable doubts, yet he is conscious of them. He does not dismiss their sense of powerlessness since he is aware of it. He remembers them despite their recent rise to fame. Our heavenly Father cares for us in the same way that a loving mother holds her child.
Unlike human brains, our omniscient God never forgets us. Even though we frequently lose sight of who we are, our loving Lord never fails to remind us that we are His treasured children. Our ever-present Savior is there to remind us where we are, yet even with His perceptive Spirit guiding us, we could lose sight of it. Even though we fail to forgive, our loving heavenly Father nevertheless gives us the ability to do so. Faith gives us the assurance that even in our moments of loneliness, Christ's love will find us and console us. People who call upon His name are eternally remembered.
We could overlook returning phone calls, but Christ never stops communicating with us in His love letter, the Bible, or in quiet prayer during a difficult moment. He also never stops creating beauty. Jesus never skips using His grace to atone for our sin, even if we could forget to pay a bill and suffer the consequences. We could forget a commitment we made and harm our credibility, but the Almighty's honesty is beyond reproach. We find comfort in the knowledge that our Master Jesus is honored. Anyone the Lord welcomes into His Kingdom is someone he never forgets.
Are you feeling left behind? Has being by yourself caused you to lose faith? If so, give it one more go and let perseverance get you through. Andy Stanley once stated, "Still faith, not flawless performance, is the yardstick by which spiritual development is measured." We trust that Christ will complete the story of His love and grace that is written in our hearts since we are all works in progress. Yes, continue, especially if people don't fulfill their responsibilities. God is trustworthy. The Lord longs to bring those who are going through spiritual exile into the promised land of His presence. Recall His faithfulness, even when He appears quiet right now. We are loved and not forgotten by our heavenly father. He remembers!
