Sometimes it is not clear what God's will is. Given that we take into account our own understanding, it might not make sense. If it were up to our comprehension, we would be unhappy. Christ has reserved a larger reservoir of knowledge for us. Don't undervalue its availability or worth. It is important because of the divine guidance that might prevent us from taking unnecessary shortcuts that squander our own and other people's time. God's way will eventually make sense, even if it doesn't today. By faith, one can readily access His thoughts and ways.
Faith is our ongoing link to the divine, but because of the differences in our programming, we find it difficult to think like God. Some of us falsely believe that we are undeserving of God's mercy and hence do not see the need to accept it. The Christian existence, however, is dependent upon God's grace. The road of grace is God's way. He bestows grace onto us, and we give Him glory. He grants us serenity in exchange for our praise. We worship Him, and He gives us courage. This is how God has it. He was the one who invented the "road less traveled." Stay away from the stupid crowds and obey God. Though his methods may not be the most common, they yield the best results. His ideas are higher than ours.
It takes discipline to think like a god. Not all eternal thinking is rewarded in this temporary world. Indeed, having thoughts of God might get you punished. Though the world perceives you as narrow-minded, you believe that those who are not in Christ are lost in their sins and headed for hell. Still, Jesus thinks like this. It may not be feasible, but this is true even though it goes against conventional wisdom. You can have God-thoughts as a believer of Christ. With Christ's mentality you have the ability to think like God:
You came away from your conversion experience with a fresh perspective. Your capabilities no longer serve as a limit; instead, you have faith in what God can accomplish through you. You concentrate on thinking God-centric ideas rather than thinking self-centered ones. Thinking like Jesus releases you from the need for control. You put your trust in Him to deal with individuals and situations when it's right. This involves rewiring your thinking moment by moment by accessing the mind of Christ. Thinking like a god is just a step away.
