Tips To Keep You Fit And Healthy
Fitness just does not have to be HARD. By practicing some daily habits you can increase your well being. As a health and fitness trainer, here are several tips to assist getting you back on the train of being healthy.
1. Stay Active Daily
- Commit just 30 minutes of activity a day. This can include anything from walking, jogging, cycling or swimming to performing home exercises and yoga.
Use the stairs, walk short distances instead of driving and stretch if you are working on a desk all day.
2. Eat a Balanced Diet
1- Eat your fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, whole grains and healthy fats (I know you have heard this one MILLION times but I promise… it works!
Limit your diet of high-sugar and unhealthy fats processed foods.
- Hydrate at home with water throughout the day.
3. Strength Training
- Do strength training 2–3 days a week to build muscle, increase metabolism, and improve bone health.

– Perform bodyweight movements such as squats, lunges and push-ups or resistance train your muscles.
4. Get Enough Sleep
—Shoot for 7–9 hours of shut-eye every night so your body can repair and refuel.
Sleep needed for recovery, clear mind and high energy.
5. Set Realistic Goals
Consider establishing realistic yet measurable fitness goals to help inspire yourself and monitor your improvement too.
Consistency is everything, so the most important thing to do here is not a quick fix but focus on building habits keep them sustainable.
6. Mix Up Your Workouts
– Make your workouts different so that you do not get bored and hit every muscle group.
- Mix it up with new stuff: swimming, dance classes, Pilates or hiking for some variety
7. Stay Positive and Consistent
Fitness is a lifelong practice so it takes time. Some days you will feel like giving up but keep showing up and celebrating them little wins.
