It appears that one way you can get around the Sherman Anti-Trust Act of 1890 which targets monopolies and cartels who restrains trade is to simply by buying up smaller companies.

Immaterial in legalese means irrelevant, unnecessary, unessential, not pertinent, not decisive, without enough weight, of no material significance or substantial consequence. My favorite of these words is "IRRELEVANT" because it's fun and easy to say. I've been saying this word, irrelevant, for decades. Wow, my soul must be an invisible lawyer.

In legalese, is there a distinction between monopolies and cartels? I can see differences and similarities between these two terms. Drawing a line between these two can be rather unsettling and disturbing on a fundamental level.

Focus on Ephesians 5. We read through all or most of that fifth chapter. Romans 12 talks about being in but not of the world. Romans 1:20. James 4:17 talks about not doing what you know to be good is sin. Philippians 2:5 talks about having the mind of Christ, Ephesians 5:1 talks about being imitators of God. What are the roles of Christians? Is the church separate from government? The answer is rather long and complex. You need to study Catholicism and a series of things found in world history. The Bible has principles which can be applied to humans who can in affect be in governments. I encourage people to try to influence governments and culture and politics and everything as much as possible. We can't everything and perhaps there are things we shouldn't do. But I urge you away from fatalism, pacifism, nihilism, apathy, ignorance. Those are 5 powerful things we can spend days talking about. I believe in making a difference in the world. Christians shouldn't be too dumb and retarded about these matters. Get involved. Satan may be the prince of the air to an extent. Covid Vaccines are killing people. If we are the body of Christ as Christians, if one when one member of the body is sick means the entire body of Christ shares in that sickness, then how does that apply to Covid Vaccines which are murdering over seven billion humans on the planet before 2030 potentially speaking. I talk about this as a way to counter that. I do not want that many people to die. It is likely that over a billion people are dying and are in the process of ongoing decline towards the brink of actual death from Covid Vaccines and a series of things these next several years. So, this affects people. I care about people. So, I do what I can to talk about the bad and the good together. Bad stuff happens. We should talk about that in details. So, I talk about that as much as I can. I write about that as much as I can. Many bad things. Many bad people. I talk about it. I write about it. We should and must continue writing and talking about it. But at the same time, we must also talk about solutions to those problems. Fauci. Truth. God is righteousness. God is holiness. God is justice and grace, those two words. That is what I said in class. That is all I said. Negative energy can be a problem. Emotionalism. What does "AND" mean is my question. I wonder what it meant at that time. Does it mean just and or can it mean "SO" or a concept of "IN OTHER WORDS" kind of thing. These details matter a lot when studying scriptures and anything really. Is the Bible written to or for us? I say perhaps both depending on which book or which thing or I would say take it at a case by case basis. I say we can apply the Bible to our lives even if or when it is not directly to us per se. Personally responsibility. Value of a church in a small church, the Simpsons for example, how things were in the 1800s. Marriage should be done at a church or somewhere with enough people. I don't know how many might be enough people. But I would have the wedding in public. However, in regards to marriage licenses and certificates as declared and everything from governments and whatever, I would investigate a series of things regarding customs, culture, law, world history, etc, in relation to those matters before being potentially led astray. What does Ephesians 5:5 mean? Not sure. Are you afraid of Covid? Better yet, Covid Vaccines or bears? Make houses. Do what you can against bears. But lockdowns is more scarier. Tyranny is bad. Reaction is critical. How you respond is a test of character. Habitual sin is a problem.

Perspective Blessings Coming Eventually

Be patience. Stories of blessing that do come eventually. Cambodia. I was a manager for Girls Basketball back when I was a student at my high school. Opportunities for men and women to make a difference in the lives of children, boys, girls, teenagers, the youth, especially young ladies for example, in different countries, Vietnam, Asia, China, all around the world, and even in America, your home country, at school, local cities, churches, basketball, etc. A light in the darkness. Opportunities come. Blessed be the name of the Lord song. Refuge, strong tower. People would run into the towers and walls of a city or kingdom as invaders came. They were saved by the towers. God is a strong tower. God is our refuge and strength. These songs were understood at a deeper level by many people back in the ancient world. Sermon by Nate closed today with the Unspeakable Joy song. The H.G. Wells book, The Outline of History, the one I am reading, is the second volume meaning it is missing the first almost 500 pages which is in volume 1. Alexandrian importance of the Mother of God became a strong belief in Catholicism. It's not a Christian concept. It's pagan. Asceticism. Serapeum. Mithraism. Sometimes I feel like Wells is describing Catholicism when he describes certain things. And yet it appears he always or sometimes calls it Christendom or Christianity. And it can be argued it is a branch or denomination or sect or whatever which stems and come out of the Christian religion. In a sense, sure. But is it fundamentally Christian? I say no. So, I would call things describing what Catholics believe and do as Catholicism. Don't call it Christianity.

A product may go through five steps. First, farms or others may collect or create products, produce, parts, etc. Step two might be manufactures assuming that step one does not include aspects of manufacturing. Perhaps things can be assembled or manufactured or otherwise in step one. Perhaps some farms or other kinds of places have and do several steps. Step three might be wholesalers who gather the products from the manufactures, the factories, etc, from step two. Wholesalers may include Costco perhaps or something of that nature. Not sure if Walmart could be considered a wholesaler. Step four are the retailers or stores or places where you buy the goods or services. Step five, the final step in most cases might be the customers or consumers who buy the goods or services.

Might be the last episode of the series is my guess. But I don't want it to end ever really. Angel. She knows. Dexter tells her about all the dead bodies under ground. Harrison killed Dexter. Angela tells Harrison to leave town and never return. I have mixed feelings about this last episode and on the 9 seasons in general of the entire series of Dexter. Part of me appreciates the type of story told at the very end which was that the father died so the son could live. It is a story of sacrifice. I can talk all day about that. That is a good concept that the show is ending on. That is the justification or excuse, spoiler alert, to kill off Dexter. It comes down to what kind of story you want to tell. It comes down to who Dexter might be now after season 8. Dexter was not killing people for a long time, like ten years. In season 9, he kills again. On one hand, Dexter was changing in season 8. Dexter stopped killing for a while. But then his sister was killed. So, he drove his boat into the storm to end his life. He survived which might have been unrealistic. But it depends on what happened. If he was faking his death, then he did a good job. If not, then perhaps he changed his mind at the very end and was able to not drown and eventually make it back to dry ground. A third option would be he woke up lying on a beach somewhere. That is the least likely to have worked. But it then becomes a question of what this Dexter character would do for ten years. If he was able to not kill, then would he accidentally kill Matt? The answer would be maybe not. But it depends on which way the writers wanted to take Dexter. And I was hoping Angela would be ok with Dexter in some ways. I was hoping Harrison would be ok with who Dexter was too. It looks like Harrison was faking it in some ways in order to get Dexter to confess all his crimes to him during those last few episodes. This 9th season was pretty well done. So, I was on the edge of my seat to the end. I am not happy with how they ended it. I would imagine they will not continue the show with Harrison. They could but less people would likely watch it. People watched Dexter because Dexter was in it. But now he is dead. I would have preferred not killing Dexter. I would have had the father and son run off to Los Angeles or somewhere. I prefer this ending over Dexter killing Harrison. So, it could have been worse. I can probably talk all day about all of this. Bottom line, if Dexter was as bad as they say, then he would have killed his son which would have justified his son killing him. Dexter letting his own son murder him tells me that Harrison was wrong to kill him. Angela was wrong to want to have Dexter executed in Florida.

I get the story they told in the finale. I understand it. The idea is great. But I don't like it.

There are so many questions. Would Dexter let his son kill him? Hard question to answer. Also, would Harrison kill Dexter? That question is also hard to answer. A third question would be regarding Angela. These are probably the biggest three questions. Writers can take the story where they want to take it. I understand how they ended it. I understand the idea of a father dying, a sacrifice, so the son can live. That is a nice idea. But what do the fans want is a big question. The biggest question might be relating to the underlying character of who Dexter Morgan is.

Instead of having Dexter kill Logan, the better choice would have been to have Dexter react faster and harder when Angela was arresting Dexter in the house. It would been challenging as Logan was already there in the house. They were rushing the story as they only had ten episodes. Is it better to rush a story in order to finish it or is it better to try to tell a good story? If you try to tell a good story, the problem would be if you are unable to finish telling the story in future seasons. Like with this show, it was probably that they only had Michael C. Hall agree to one season. So, they were in that situation similar to how Han Solo was killed off in Star Wars. James Bond was killed off. A lot of white men are being killed off in movies and shows. They did something kind of crazy to Doctor Who. And the list goes on and on. The only thing worse would be if Dexter killed Harrison and Angela. Well, it would be interesting but in some ways pretty insane if Dexter did that. So, Dexter letting his son kill him is in a sense a form of character development for Dexter. So, it can be argued Dexter made the best choice he could. But then again, we would have to scrutinize and analyze the entire process, that is each step Dexter took through this 9th season especially. Or you could even go back and look at decisions he made in previous seasons and theorize whether or not the real Dexter would let that one guy live. And that one guy ended up killing his sister, Deb. Would the real Dexter really do that? And the answer is mostly, "If the writers want it, they get it." But was it really a kind of thing Dexter would do. Would a guy like Dexter really evolve that much to go against how he was doing things for so long? I would say some people may change. But the kind of person the Dexter Morgan character was, it would be extremely unlikely. It seems to me that not only did Dexter have an urge to kill, his Dark Passenger, but he also had The Code which he was following like a nerd. It was like he had OCD in the way he followed The Code. Therefore, I believe he would never violate The Code. But letting that guy live probably violated the code and resulted in the death of Deb. That was the straw that broken the camel's back. Also, would Dexter try to kill himself at the end of season 8? I say unlikely. I say the writers and whoever were wrong to have him sail that boat into the storm.

I didn't even realize Logan was dead until Harrison mentioned it, I thought Logan was just unconscious.

Real Dexter, pre-season 6 Dexter, would have realized Angela was acting different. And they kind of say Dexter is suspicious and yet that is about it.

Harrison said, several times, that when Dexter killed bad people that he was saving innocent people who would have died had those bad people lived longer. It makes me wonder why Harrison would say that but then still shoot his own father in the end. We can blame it all on bad writing. But at the same time, the only excuse I can come up with might be that Harrison was just saying what he thought Dexter wanted to hear in order to get Dexter to confess his crimes. It almost seems like Harrison was somewhat faking it in order to evaluate Dexter. Had there been no blood or anything else on the clothes of Dexter, would Harrison still come up with other excuses to murder or execute Dexter Morgan? Based on what I can tell, the answer would likely be yes. And when I say yes, I mean that is what the writers and producers were setting up. It looks like they were going to have Harrison kill Dexter no matter what. If not because Dexter killed Logan, then it would have been the excuse that his mom (who was once on Buffy The Vampire Slayer) died because of Dexter. So, what they did with the Harrison character was kind of weird. After Dexter saved Harrison from that big man in the weird ski outfit, Harrison hugged Dexter in the truck. And that was kind of ok. But looking back, it now seems odd and almost out of character for Harrison to do. Like, it was almost like Harrison was being dramatic to fool Dexter. But would the real Harrison do that? I don't know. Would the real son of Dexter kill his own father? I would not want to tell that kind of story. Sure, it's better than having Dexter kill his own son. But I would have prefer them running off together. Besides, I thought Harrison didn't want to be alone and I thought he didn't want to leave his new GF.

Dexter New Blood was ok and I wanted to see more. But then they killed him. So, never mind folks, don't watch it. Agreed. I was hoping to see Dexter for five more seasons at least.

@Steve Palmerton but did Harrison know Dexter long enough and deep enough in order to earn that ability to have Dexter stuck in his head like that? I would imagine it would have to take years before a person's voice can become part of your subconscious.

I had a feeling Harrison would kill Dexter too and I was praying, "Dear God no. No. Stop it."
