Da kannst du kaum was machen wenn die Straßen und Gehwege mit Eis bedeckt sind.
Ich habe das Eis vom Auto entfernt, da es jetzt auch noch schneit.
Mit einer Eisschicht würde das noch viel länger dauern.
Es soll noch bis in die Nacht hinein schneien.
Passt gut auf wenn ihr raus müsst.

Winter here lasts until around March. January and February are the coldest months.
If you have the opportunity, you can work from home. But if you have to drive, you should try to drive very carefully. Even if it takes longer to reach your destination.

I can imagine that the winters in Canada are harsher and longer than in Germany.
They used to be. We just got snow and cold weather a few days ago. Winters used to last from November to March … now it’s more like January - February …. Definitely warmer the last few years.
