Guten Tag meine lieben Squadis.
Wie ich ja schon auf Twitter angekündigt habe ,habe ich meinen Desktop PC gestern gegen meinen Raspberry Pi 4 augetauscht. Aber warum tue ich das ?Es ist ein kleines Experiment in wie fern ein PI ausreicht für den normalen Alltag.Da ich nicht mehr der große Zocker bin und auch nicht mehr am streamen sollte mir der PI ausreichen für den normalen Alltag.
Sollte ich dennoch mal etwas spielen wollen werde ich wie auch schon auf meinem Desktop auf Geforce Now zurück greifen.
Ich hoffe natürlich auch dadurch einiges an Strom am Ende des Jahres zu sparen.

As I have already announced on Twitter, I have exchanged my desktop PC yesterday against my Raspberry Pi 4.But why do I do that? It is a small experiment in how far a PI is enough for normal everyday life.Since I'm no longer the big gamer and also no longer streaming,the PI should be enough for me for normal everyday life.
Should I still want to play something I will use Geforce Now.
Of course, I also hope to save some electricity at the end of the year.
Wie ihr sehen könnt schreibe ich diesen Beitrag sogar schon auf meinem Pi. Der Experte wird erkennen das ich PI Os benutze,ein OS speziell für den Raspberry PI.
Vorher hatte ich ein normales Ubuntu Desktop was die reinste Katastrophe war. Auch wenn auf der Webseite von Ubuntu gesagt wird Ubuntu Desktop würde auf dem Pi funktionieren rate ich euch davon ab.
Alleine wenn ich nur den Browser geöffnet habe sprang meine CPU Auslastung bei allen 4 Kernen des PIs auf über 80%,habe ich noch einen Stream geschaut war die Auslastung bie 95 bis 99%.
Jetzt springt der PI zwar auch auf 80% wenn ich 2 Streams schaue aber dies ist vollkommen ok.
Es gibt übrigens eine Version von OBS Studio für PI OS und das werde ich natürlich ausprobieren.
As you can see I'm already writing this post on my Pi. The expert will recognize that I'm using PI Os, an OS specifically for the Raspberry PI.
Before I had a normal Ubuntu Desktop which was the purest disaster. Even if on the website of Ubuntu is said Ubuntu Desktop would work on the Pi I advise you not to do so.
If I only opened the browser my CPU load jumped to over 80% with all 4 cores of the PI, if I watched a stream the load was 95 to 99%.
Now the PI also jumps to 80% when I watch 2 streams but this is perfectly ok.
By the way, there is a version of OBS Studio for PI OS and of course I will try that.
Installiert habe ich OBS Studio schon muss es nur noch einrichten.Falls ich heute noch Lust dazu habe das dies zu machen wird es heute Abend einen kleinen Stream geben :) Eins sollte aber klar sein ,wenn ich mit dem PI streame dann nicht in 1080p sondern eher in 540p.
Also vielleicht bis heute Abend auf twitch.
I have installed OBS Studio already just have to set it up.If I still feel like doing this today, there will be a small stream tonight :)But one thing should be clear, if I stream with the PI then not in 1080p but rather in 540p.

Das hört sich nach einem interessanten Experiment an. Ich schätze aber schon dass so ein Pi für alltägliche Dinge völlig ausreichen wird.
Nach 4 Tagen kann ich so viel sagen . Selbst webseiten öffnen dauert mit dem pi viel länger als ich gewöhnt bin .
