Hallo liebe Community,
Ich wünsche euch allen ein frohes und besinnliches Fest.
Wir haben schon ein schönes Fest, denn meine Frau musste überraschend gestern Nacht doch nicht arbeiten, sodass wir gestern noch zusammen backen konnten. Heute Morgen haben wir schön zusammen gefrühstückt.
Ich hatte meinen Stremelllachs und meine Frau bekam Garnelen, da sie keinen Fisch mag.
Sehen meine Lebkuchen nicht toll aus? Glaube, diesmal sind sie noch besser geworden. Habe diese aber noch nicht probiert, morgen erst. Scheinen diesmal weicher, fluffiger geworden zu sein. Ob es daran liegt, dass ich diesmal extra Pottasche bestellt habe?
Meine Frau hat dann noch Kokosmakronen gemacht, die wir noch in weißer Schokolade gebadet haben.
Dann gibt es noch Apfelstreuselkuchen morgen. Diesen hatten wir bisher noch nicht gemacht. Bin gespannt, wie die sein werden.
Von den Nussecken hatte ich bisher kein Foto gemacht. Die sind auch richtig gut geworden. Echt lecker, habe schon genascht von dem abgebröckelten.
Gleich gibt es bei uns Abendessen, darauf freue ich mich immer wieder. Heiligabend ist bei uns immer gleich und ich hoffe, das bleibt noch sehr lange so.

Hello dear community,
I wish you all a happy and reflective holiday.
We already have a nice feast, because my wife surprisingly had to work last night but not, so we could bake together yesterday. This morning we had a nice breakfast together.
I had my stremel salmon and my wife got shrimp since she doesn't like fish.
Don't my gingerbread cookies look great? Think they turned out even better this time. Haven't tried these yet though, tomorrow first. Seem to have become softer, fluffier this time. I wonder if it's because I ordered extra potash this time?
My wife then made coconut macaroons, which we still bathed in white chocolate.
Then there is still apple crumble cake tomorrow. We had not made this one before. Am curious how they will be.
From the Nussecken I had not yet made a photo. They are also really good. Really tasty, have already nibbled from the crumbled off.
Immediately there is dinner with us, I'm always looking forward to it. Christmas Eve is always the same with us and I hope it stays that way for a very long time.
