Oh, there are always small and big disasters in Uganda.
I always have the feeling that the people there never find peace because the living conditions are so bad.
Especially the health sector always shows how well we are doing here in Germany.
We have health insurance and therefore we can see a doctor at any time and get medical help.
In Uganda, the nearest doctor is often far away and the biggest problem is that most people cannot afford it at all.
There I have to think directly again of our first vacation there.
The grandfather of one of the students had a stroke, was paralyzed on one side and his wife was sitting helplessly in an armchair next to him.
It had only happened two days before and there is no doctor at Lake Bunyonyi. The hospital that could help is 2.5 hours away and the family had no money.
We spontaneously paid the cab at that time. It cost 40,-$.
A human life hangs on a paltry 40,-$ !
Unfortunately, the grandfather lived only 2.5 months.
He simply got medical help too late...
Now it has hit our dear Bosco.
Thank God it is not a stroke, but only a thick knee.
But of course it is very painful. The people there live on the mountain. The slopes and paths are uneven, there are not roads everywhere.
His knee suddenly swelled up last week without any injury. He believes that it is evil magic from jealous people.
This morning the solar panels arrived in Kabale.
Bosco is always very conscientious and always wants to do his tasks quickly and well.
His plan is to pick them up on Wednesday.
We have already told him that for now he should take care of his health.
He can take care of the solar panels later.
I hope he takes that to heart.
Bosco, we all wish you a speedy recovery!

A big hug from Venezuela
Hi!
I also have not much time for the blockchaines, too much work...
So, a big hug from Germany!
Wow. This is not good. It's really big and I can only imagine the discomfort he is feeling. I wish him quick recovery. 2 and half hours away to reach a doctor... This is not good at all. God keep Bosco and I pray he gets better soon.
Thank you mama for being a voice of reason in this insane world. Thank you...thank you...thank you...
There are also doctors and a small hospital in Kabale. That is about 10 km away. But they could not help the grandfather there....
That's so painful, mama... 💔

I must commend your service to humanity. You have done a lot especially for the people of Uganda 🇺🇬 We pray God strengthens you and bless you more to be able to do more.
We wish Bosco a speedy recovery!
Thank you Ma!
Thank you, I will pass on the good wishes it....
What do you think about witchcraft?
Whenever I come online and check your page i usually see works of charity. God will continue to bless you. I met with a German here in Lagos Nigeria who happened to have worked in Uganda too at Makerere University Uganda in Kampala. He is a lecturer and was happy when I told him about you. He said he will be happy to talk to you. He is currently working in Nigeria.
I saw you upvoted this but unfortunately I don't know how to talk to you privately so ill just drop his phone number and maybe a picture of his card... You can talk to him or not but he and his wife were enthusiastic about talking to you so I told them ill message you.

You have done really well for him. Uganda is a country where people are in very bad situations. Thanks for caring for them.
Oh my God! This is very sad. I wish Bosco quick recovery. I am sure that he will be very fine in a few days
Thanks! We hope so.....
