One of the many reasons that I have so much, and so much robust, trust of Megadrive is how he handled that sbd potato situation wrt the hive fork.
He made damn sure that he did not profit. He burned all of those funds. Sent them right back to hell like a three-headed dog. Seriously, he handles important ethical matters very very well and he does so routinely and I have never seen his ethics lapae not even once
that´s ok when you have trust in him (it should be that way if you do business with him on a joint-project)
but for such meaningful things I guess the community has the right to ask for a proof of that !
And the best thing, to not let happen such discussions, would be to do that right before someone could ask for it, thus must be a normal thing in such a project like in any business where such things can harm the project/business and the owners of coins/token/shares .
So in my eyes this is not glory moment of a stearing crew, this again is the lack of transparency what everyone could expect from a often from "M" pointed out "highly qualified" stearing crew (meaning himself).
I think you have misinformation or just pretending you don't know better.
It took a lot of convincing from multiple people well after the fork and well after HBDPotato was dead to get him to return the funds on Hive. It took him over a year of being asked to return the funds before he did and only on Hive since he still runs a witness there, despite talking shit about Hive.
On Steem? He's been profiting majorly and has doubled the 200K from the Proposal Fund to profit heavily for his business that still serves Steem customers to this day.
He's been doing this for years with funds he promised he would never use for his own gain.
Yet he has and has profited greatly from it. He refuses to return it or burn it and continues to serve users who facilitated a $7M theft of Steem directly from wallets (I had 170K stolen from me), but his lack of morals and ethics allows him to continue to service them making a killing, a lot of it is SBDPotato funding he is using.
Sure, let's pretend he is a stand up guy. Let's pretend he has principles.

I was the one that prompted him to even go to cryptodrive. Lordbutterfly was on better terms with him than I am as I don't like unprincipled people.

There is no secret that I don't like people who pretend to be their ex-wife for votes and are generally trolls. I'm touched though he did it on behalf of me.
