The temperatures dropped to -10 Celsius last night .. so lots of frost on the roofs, and car windows.
I had to scrape for a few minutes to get them all cleared of ice.
The next problem is condensation on the inside window surface … I found a good video on YouTube that explains the best way to defog your windows… and it worked.
Here is the view out my fog free window this morning…
Video:
These are the settings that worked best …
- Heat on Full Blast
- AC on with air circulation
- Seat warmers on (bonus)
- Windows open a bit
Here is my frosty windows a few minutes earlier …
-10 brrrrr, I see you drive a kmh car, I thought you were mph over there?
We only get -10 for a week or so in January here.
No Kanada uses Km … we have been metric for ever.
Weird that ex colony and all. Which side of the road you drive on bud?
Right side.
Same as most parts of Europe then.
Yep a ac does help , it gives dry air , and indeed open the windows a bit to let the moist air out .
But never , like i ones did , use a empty Red-bull can to scrape the frost from your windows because you can't find the plastic one when your already late for work .
That did cost me a front window and some hours of polishing on the side windows ,.. so i recommend a soft scraper . ;-)
I use a credit card some days.
Beautiful sky
