On this Wednesday morning it’s #Y2K Wednesday (songs from 2000’s). Today we are picking songs from one band and two albums. The little known band Mest. They were a pop punk band whose first album came out in 1999 and they released four records on major label Maverick from 1999-2005. Even with being on a major for four major releases and there best buds Good Charlotte blowing up in 2002 and taking them out on tour and guesting on a song or two for guest vocals they just never had mainstream success. Same time the punk scene hated that they were poppy and on a major label without ever being on a Independent level first like most punk bands signed with a major later (Green Day,Offspring,Yellowcard,Blink-182). Besides a MTV video aired rarely they just never got any mainstream success. The band broke up in 2007 after being dropped by Maverick Records.
