Good morning, dear friends, and welcome to another beautiful new week.
God is the source of all our abilities—whether it be to work, obtain a degree, make money, sing, paint, play an instrument, or close a deal. He encourages us and provides the means for us to fulfill out His purposes for our lives. In addition yes, when you fail to utilize the gifts that He bestowed upon you, you risk losing them.
A weak testimony or inadequate stewardship could cost you their support. Atrophy could cause you to lose your skills. The information, skills, and abilities that God has given us also deteriorate and become ineffective when left unused, just like muscle does. How are you handling the gifts that God has given you? He expects you to keep developing and getting better. He encourages you to concentrate on your strongest suit.
As we get older, we should preferably focus just on the one thing that comes naturally to us. The one thing people compliment us on and find most enjoyable about being with us. Align your life to focus on the one thing that, by God's grace, you are an expert at. If instruction is the answer, then give it your whole attention. If so, concentrate on leading. It might be that. Focus on coaching if that's the case. It may be singing; concentrate on singing. Parenting is likely the cause; concentrate on it. Maybe it's writing; if so, concentrate on writing.
This calls for self-control and occasionally sacrifice, but have faith in God regardless of your identity. To bless yourself and everyone around you, serve from your sweet spot. Although there are financial factors to take into account, every period of life has its own prospects. Remain agile, grasp every chance within the framework of your expertise, and never fail to give God the glory for what you've accomplished.
"Sing to the LORD a new song—His praise in the assembly of the godly. Let Israel rejoice in their Maker; let the children of Zion rejoice in their King. Let them praise His name with dancing, and make music to Him with tambourine and harp. For the LORD takes pleasure in His people; He adorns the afflicted with salvation." - Psalm 149:1-4"
