A once-supportive and encouraging relationship can quickly deteriorate into one characterized by betrayal and criticism.

When envy spreads, it breaks down relationships. Those who are impacted by jealousy's outbursts feel shocked and then rapidly lose sympathy for the one who is afflicted. Jealousy thrives on insecurity because it creates a feeling that one is not receiving God's favor in the same manner as another.

In reality, jealousy is a green-eyed monster that wants to devour everything in its path. It is not prejudiced. Instead, it brainwashes people at all societal levels. Because of their wealth and prospects, the rich are often maligned by the poor out of jealousy. Because they lead uncomplicated, carefree lifestyles, those who are fortunate may get envious of those who are less successful. Both men and women experience jealousy toward one another. You could start to feel envious of someone else's partner, kids, or profession.

If you are not receiving the same level of blessings from God as someone else, you may even feel jealous of their relationship with Him. It is a losing game that makes Satan happy to play, jealousy. What is your approach to handling jealousy? Strive to neutralize envy if it is aimed at you by being assertive and polite. When someone is feeling disillusioned, approach them and offer to assist them comprehend this harmful path, rather than gossiping about the jealous offender to others.

Finally, acknowledge and confess your envy as a sin if it haunts you and you find yourself enthralled with its seduction. Don't fall for this trick anymore. Acknowledge the accomplishments of others and make thankfulness your life's motivation. Trust God for what you lack and be happy with what you do have. Jesus' followers are expected to rise beyond immature and worldly behavior. Be authentic and give thanks to God for creating you in your unique form.
