So don't simply work with the finished draft; incorporate Him from the start and all the way through. The heavenly father will interact with you and be of assistance, just like a decent earthly parent would. In addition to challenging your ideas, he will support you. He is going to offer you an unconventional and perhaps even frightening viewpoint. Sometimes, from our perspective, God's plans are not safe and secure. He occasionally has wild and dangerous plans.

If you are not praying while you plan, you can overlook His unusual insights. His method of doing anything can be very different from what you had in mind at first. Be unafraid of opposing viewpoints. God will use this to hone your reasoning skills. A well-polished strategy is far preferable than one that is tarnished by false presumptions and bloated by indolent reasoning. As you plan, invite others to join you in prayer.

Involve people who have gone where you want to go, in particular. Their intercession is intelligent and fruitful. They will offer prayers with empathy and understanding. These pleading saints will not toss a meek, softball-like pitch toward heaven. Instead, their fervent prayer will boldly and firmly storm the throne of grace in your favor. Seek out people whose primary goal in life is what God has planned for you, and include them in the process of thoughtful preparation.

Planning with prayer may cause the process to move more slowly or quickly. In any case, faith in the master planner will be necessary. The finest overall plan is his. Have faith in Him for the outcome. Planning with prayer yields amazing results!
