Good morning, dear friends, and welcome to another beautiful new week.
We cannot disregard Truth when it is revealed to us by God. The contrasting results of accepting and rejecting the Truth are illustrated by two pagan pharaohs. The first pharaoh was in dire need of the interpretation of his two dreams. To explain them, he summoned Joseph from the prison. Joseph was a truth-filled, upright man. The pharaoh had to decide what to do with the knowledge of the Truth. He recognized the Spirit of God in Joseph and accepted the Truth as revealed by God. Egypt became the most powerful country on earth after it was freed from financial devastation and starvation.
Following his passing, a new pharaoh who had never met Joseph took control. The new pharaoh ignored the Truth, despite having been Egypt's revered prime minister. Even though he was aware that Egypt was prosperous because of Joseph and his God, he yet made the Israelites slaves. The body of the pharaoh ended up floating in the Red Sea as God recalled His vow to curse anybody who cursed Abraham's children.
This truth has poured out all of our blessings and united us as one country under God. Our civilization has been rooted by this truth, which has also helped us navigate national crises. God will once more do great things in this nation when we return to His truth.
