Good morning, dear friends, and welcome to another beautiful new week.
Roaring productivity would enable people to work less hours and have more balanced lifestyles, an expectation shared by the industrial and digital revolutions. History hasn't turned out that way, as we are all aware of. Our work hours have increased despite technological advancements, but we are regrettably incurring more debt and financial difficulties.
If there are no detrimental effects on your relationships with others or other facets of your life, you'll probably continue on your current course and stop only when there is a compelling cause to do so. Here's what I would advise: Anytime you want, you are free to work! You should attempt to treasure these moments and try to make the most out of your own life. Nevertheless, you may find it helpful to follow one of these recommendations to relax during the day if you detect that you're feeling tense or detached—if you feel as though time is passing quickly as you strive for more.
It's hard for me to eat slowly. I was always a voracious eater. But it seems to me that eating with more awareness might be a kind of meditation. In general, savor the occasion by chewing your food more slowly and appreciating flavors with the palate of a gourmet. You can take your time and enjoy the meal, even if it's unlikely to prolong it beyond ten minutes.
See a picture online instead of reading a text while you browse the web. We are curious people, which is wonderful. With further study, we grow and acquire comprehension. Applying knowledge as often as one would like to is challenging, though, due to the abundance of information available. In the digital age, this is a specific problem. This lunch break, instead of learning something new, take a moment to appreciate a beautiful sight. In response to most of your queries, silence is the best response.
"Sing to the LORD a new song—His praise in the assembly of the godly. Let Israel rejoice in their Maker; let the children of Zion rejoice in their King. Let them praise His name with dancing, and make music to Him with tambourine and harp. For the LORD takes pleasure in His people; He adorns the afflicted with salvation." - Psalm 149:1-4"
