Mid Week: The Ubiquity and Purpose of Tests in Life

Tests are a part of life. Over the course of the years of formal schooling, there are several tests. To obtain a learner's permit and subsequently a driver's license, you must pass an exam. Blood testing, eye exams, hearing tests, and personality tests are all available. In hiking in the mountains, one can find tests for psychological endurance, tests for marathon competitors, and testing for alcohol consumption. Tests, whether you agree with them or not, assess present performance and provide guidance for the future.

To be more precise, the Christian life consists of a sequence of divine trials. At certain points in our spiritual journey, our Heavenly Father wishes to make known to us the true nature of our hearts. This unvarnished discovery may prove to be fruitful or a sobering reminder of regression. In either case, His trials are designed to spur us on as we advance toward more grace and love.

Additionally, since your Master Jesus already knows what's in your heart—He only wants you to know—you will have a strong desire to get to know Him. The Lord may, indeed, occasionally confound His people, but this is only to allow them to encounter Him in the rich supply and all-encompassing power. A chance to relax in Christ and let Him strengthen your faith is presented by your divine test. Tests serve us much like a hot, red furnace does, eliminating impurities and revealing the essence.

Which test are you taking? An exercise in patience—be patient with the Lord and other people. Trust that you have everything you need in Christ, both now and in the future, as a test of your financial security. A challenge to help those in need: step forward and see Jesus increase your donation beyond recognition. A trial of obedience: respond right away with cheerful assistance. Your Creator's love and care will provide you strength and comfort during this test of your mental and physical well-being.

If you put your faith in God and serve others who are more in need, you will succeed in your divine tests. Tests are relative depending on your situation in life; there are always others going through more intense pain, misery, and seemingly unbeatable obstacles than you. Therefore, embrace this heavenly test as a chance to put your faith in the Lord to provide for both you and the people He is calling you to love. You pass His trials in order to give others who are also going through testing His hope.
