Good morning, dear friends, and welcome to another beautiful new week.

Our faith grows as a result of suffering, and it is for the mature faith. How is it possible that going through hardship will help me grow in my faith? Why must virtuous individuals bear the consequences of other people's sins? Because of our humanity, we wish to spare our loved ones from pain, even though this might be God's intention. He removes my man-centered motivations, exposing the unvarnished truth of my need on Him.

To find joy in the midst of hardship seems unnatural, but that is precisely what life centered around Christ accomplishes. We are able to glimpse our Savior's sorrow via our own pain. With peaceful submission to Jesus, the sight of His unmerited suffering calms my spirit. His sufferings teach me, deep down inside, how to endure with compassion, faith, endurance, and joy. You might just be aware that your suffering serves to highlight God's splendor, or He might gradually make the reason for it clear to you. In order to know the Lord and get insight into how to endure properly, give Him your pain instead of complaining to Him about it and missing Him.

Suffering is not limited to a particular demographic. From the wealthy and well-known to the destitute and in need, it transcends all cultures. An elderly father changing careers, a young mother miscarrying, or a child ensnared in a chronic illness are all examples of people who suffer in silence. Some people experience poverty, illness, financial hardship, emotional and mental illness, and persecution. We cannot learn how to endure well unless we submit to the Suffering Servant. It is true that we may experience a great deal of suffering in this life, just as Jesus did.

See pain, then, as a necessary step in giving up your own life and embracing Christ. As the Lord creates His serenity and His character, allow Him to love you during this trying time. He will elevate you to the position of motivator and encourager for others when you discover what it means to be patient and really humble. Absorb your sorrow in a close relationship with Jesus instead of wasting it on self-pity. Remember the merciful cross and the triumphant resurrection while you bear pain as a servant.

"Sing to the LORD a new song—His praise in the assembly of the godly. Let Israel rejoice in their Maker; let the children of Zion rejoice in their King. Let them praise His name with dancing, and make music to Him with tambourine and harp. For the LORD takes pleasure in His people; He adorns the afflicted with salvation." - Psalm 149:1-4"

Wishing you a lovely day
