Good morning, dear friends, and welcome to another beautiful new week.
(Today's verse Read 1 Timothy 4:1-2)
Truth is needed in our country. We will be living under a deception if we deny the Truth. Paul forewarned that men would prioritize their wealth and self-interest over everything else in the end days. They would disobey their parents, be blasphemous and boastful, and hate good. He predicted that a generation that was more informed than any previous one would become increasingly disconnected from the Truth. Their lives will undermine the legitimacy and power of their professed piety (2 Timothy 3:1–5).
Paul was specifically instructed by the Spirit to mention in today's verse that even believers will fall for the doctrines of demons and the deception of deceitful spirits in the end days. They won't be able to understand Truth because their consciences would be so burned. As a result of our culture's acceptance of misleading narratives and deceit, we have grown desensitized to the lies. We have allowed Satan's lies to burn our national conscience to the bone. Being so familiar with the Truth that we are unable to be duped by any worthless impostor is the finest approach to spot a counterfeit. May the Word of God become so ingrained in our lives that we will never be tempted to stray from it.
