Humans, not God or angels, are the agents of salvation. God has appointed us to be His ambassadors, reaching out to the lost with the precious news of the Gospel. Jesus gave us instructions to proclaim the gospel to everyone on the planet and to teach unbelievers to follow all of His commandments. Although He did not leave us to complete the assignment, it is our obligation. We shall always have him by our side. According to Proverbs 11:30, a wise person is one who gains souls, and Daniel promises that the wise will shine as brightly as the sun. Those who help a sinner turn to righteousness will live forever and shine like stars.
Jesus gave His brother James a vision. He urged Christians to pursue individuals who had abandoned their religion and to hold onto them! Every individual we present to God results in the remission of numerous sins and the rescue of a lost soul from certain death (James 5:20). To the best of our ability, we are to share the love of Christ with those who are not in the Kingdom. It's us that He gave this responsibility to. We shall shine brightly like stars once we have won souls.
