Since it recognizes the value in a variety of viewpoints, wise planning is inherently collaborative. It welcomes feedback instead than being scared by it. If not, our options are restricted by our own thoughts, backgrounds, and intelligence. An effective strategy may reduce risk and ensure success. We would be reckless and conceited if we did not pay for planning. Anyone who wishes to achieve outcomes must first plan. Planning with prayer, however, is necessary to receive God's finest. After all, the aim of a follower of Jesus Christ is to attain His best. If not, our options are restricted to what our own efforts can create. When you compare this self-imposed restriction to collaborating with God, it is agony.

We can truly put a lot of effort into planning and create the best-laid plans, but we make the error of asking God to bless them after the fact. This makes an assumption about God. The assumption of His benediction excites him little. An assumption conveys mistrust and disregard. Though it's possible that he will bless the unprayed plan, why take the chance? Why accept the credit, too? No one will ever witness His splendor.

Therefore, you will be in danger if you have a strategy without prayer. It is simple to overlook or assume this step. You hurry ahead without consulting the person who came up with the plan because you are so thrilled about the possibilities in front of you. He's already drawn up the blueprints. He is a kind giver who is eager to confirm your goal and even reveal elements of His plan that you are yet unaware of. It's a lovely process of learning and exploration.

He will talk to you at night while your head rests on your pillow. He will communicate with you through other people and situations. Your wife or your financial limitations will serve as reliable markers. His Word is, of course, a fantastic check and balance for your planning procedure. When you plan with prayer, you remain wedded to Christ rather than the plan. He won't change, even while your ideas will. What comfort and serenity our ever-present God offers.
