Well-meaning people's counsel isn't always the greatest. They offer advice on when to buy, sell, or borrow money as well as when to save more money and make larger donations. whether it comes to relationships, we need to know whether to end them or give them another chance. whether it comes to contemplating a career move, knowing whether to accept a job offer, and when to shift careers. Even well-meaning advice may not always be the best. Only Christ can offer advice that is always correct.
Jesus' sage advice in Revelation reveals the church's blindness to its own ill state. Applying the ointment of His Spirit to expose their need for righteousness-clothing is His solution. People in denial live in a dream world where they are in constant suffering, but those who acknowledge their needy situation are able to get counseling. Although money can conceal problems, in the end, extreme dysfunction forces individuals and institutions to acknowledge their ill state. It is tougher to fully recover the longer the delay. Spiritual wealth is the only true satisfaction!
The deepest wants of our heavenly Father for us are revealed via wealth of heart. Wealth can hinder relationships or present more opportunities for personal and spiritual development. Our benevolent God bestows abundance upon His offspring. abundance in life, in relationships, and in everything we need and want for a happy, fulfilled life. Christ's treasures come with a price. We persevere in being a conduit for the Lord's acceptance, closeness, and fruitfulness even as our faith is put to the test by the flames of hardship and achievement. The knowledge of our Creator provides the best guidance.
Are you receptive to suggestions? Have you been so humble as to acknowledge that you are in need of God's and other people's assistance? Recall that the solution to problems that take up residence in the heart is not more money. It is more difficult for someone to see the ideal answer the closer they are to the problem. Faith steps back and asks someone else to assist in analyzing the issue. Christ offers the best advice. How does He view your circumstances? When you're in agony, how does Jesus want to love you? Pay attention to the Lord, observe Him at action in the world, and take His wisest counsel.
