Nothing less nor more than your best is what God expects of you. Combining God's finest with yours can be fruitful, but be cautious not to let the myths win you over and think that you can handle all the stress without seeking God's help or that God will take care of everything for you. Nor is it appropriate or healthful. He knows your limitations and merely expects the best from you. The factors that define your capacity include your age, maturity, experience, gift, availability, and wisdom. Do not set others' capabilities as your benchmark; they will be greater or lesser than your own. Rather, use what God has given you very carefully.

Opportunities will always present themselves, so weigh each task against your capacity to perform to the best of your abilities. Knowing that you have very limited capacity to deliver, never give in to pressure to commit. Rather, trust God to say no now so that He can say yes later. When compared to someone else's best, your best will appear small in comparison. Instead, it will overshadow their best. In one case, pride results from supremacy, whereas discouragement results from perceived underachievement. Self-loathing is not a way to win favor with God or others. They will substitute their sympathy for your esteem. However, avoid getting conceited about doing your best. Someone else has always done or will do it better.

It is dynamic to combine God's best with yours. Indeed, you are limited to what you can accomplish, but with God, anything is possible. He has the ability to set up situations, connections, and assets that work in your favor. All at once, your very best combined with God's and other people's finest work to produce results you never would have imagined.

Because you'll be producing best practices at an exponential rate, your choice to do less can result in much more being accomplished. Instead of celebrating the promised land of complex multiplication, why settle for the wasteland of basic addition? Your best is a precious resource; make use of it to further God's Kingdom and the needs of others. You get better the more you give it your all in the gym. With God's grace, you have the potential to excel in your field and become the best. You have the ability to become an expert in what you do, so put forth your utmost effort in serving the Lord.
