Item Exchange
The item exchange is live. You can use this feature to exchange items received from streaming or viewing into "special" chests. These chests are unique in that they can only be opened with keys. The loot from these chests are rarer and you'll be able to sell them other users or the dagamers account.
To exchange your items into special chests head over to the new "Explorer's Exchange" tab. Select 7 items of the same quality and exchange them for a chest or chests.
Note that users that have the explorer feature activated have additional change of gaining a keys when exchanging items.
Become a explorer
The Explorer feature is an account upgrade that just went live to give supporters extra perks:
- Reward progress for HBI/SBI shares will now go exclusively to those who upgrade to Explorer.
- Viewer chests drop at double the speed compared to non-Explorer accounts.
- The item exchange, which went live today, now drops not only chests but also keys—needed to open the new chests and those to come—similar to how cases work in Counter Strike.
Here's what's coming next:
- An auction house where you can buy and sell items for DGS.
- Trading DGS for DGM (or vice versa).
- DGM/HBD swapping: HBD comes from the Dagamers account. Buying 1 DGM costs 1 HBD, while selling 1 DGM gives you 0.95 HBD.
- Purchasing keys with DGM.
- Explorers will be able to claim 1 free key per week.
- If there’s enough demand, we might create a way to convert items from special chests into NFTs.
Special chests (those that require keys) and their item sets might drop less frequently over time after new chests with new item sets are introduced—or even be removed from rotation.
Reinvesting
The Dagamers account will periodically use DGM to buy DGS from Explorers and purchase items from special chests to burn them. I’ll use the HBD interest generated by the account to buy DGS from you. The target is to keep staking until we reach 1 HBD per day (or 30 HBD every 30 days). Any HBD above that will be withdrawn to invest in more traditional vehicles, with dividends mostly covering costs and partly used to buy more DGS on top of the daily purchase (though that’s for the distant future).
The idea is to create a fun micro-economy that rewards both streamers and viewers not only by relying on the market, but by also contributing through buying and burning items.
To become an Explorer, a one-time purchase of 10 HBD is required. This money will go towards staking (or other investment vehicles) to support the market and Dagamers, while also preventing leechers from flooding the market.
