{ 1 } Techno-Based Social Engineering Attacks :
In this the users are manipulated or tricked into believing that they are interacting with a legitimate computer system.
The attacker makes the victims into providing the sensitive or confidential information.
Example :-
=> Phishing - It is act of pretending to be a trusted preson to extract personal and valuable information.
=> Baiting - It is act of luring victims with tempting offers.
{ 2 } Human-Based Social Engineering Attacks :
In this users are taken advantage of their unawareness and their system and network will be attacked.
This attack are done by emotionally manipulating the victims.
Example :-
=> Quid Pro Quo - Offering something in exchange for private or valuable information.
=> Per-Texting - Creating a situation where the victims are tricked to give the private or valuable information.
