The "Royal Family* was a conscious PR construct after a sequence of dodgy kings. The most obvious con was the changing of their name - anyone recall the Saxe-Coburgs?
The most wonderful con of British history is the idea that it is a democracy! Then again, the colonies tried it and they've ended up like any other POS coin. In contrast, the UK was designed this way, over centuries - the Thai monarchy copied this setup for a very good reason. One thing many overlook about Brave New World is that it is a Brahminical structure - a caste system. In the UK, the ministers are Ministers of the Crown ;-) they don't even have to be MPs, although they keep that bit quiet.
You need to call me Sir, as I was knighted, by a leach. 😂👍 Most western countries and some in the east like here seem to use the same system, maritime law and all, names in capitals.
